YUMA, AZ (October 10, 2023) – Friday night, a crippling pedestrian crash on 24th Street and Avenue B injured one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 8:4- p.m. on 24th Street and Avenue B.

According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, a southbound car struck a boy who was crossing the roadway outside a marked crosswalk.

As a result, paramedics airlifted the victim to a Phoenix-area hospital with critical injuries.

Moreover, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
