Injuries Reported in Goleta Pedestrian Accident near Dos Pueblos High
GOLETA, CA (June 4, 2024) – Friday afternoon, a student was hurt after a crippling pedestrian crash near Dos Pueblos High.
The incident happened as a student in a small Cross Country group jogging near Dos Pueblos High. Then, a small van hit her, possibly running over her ankle for a second or two.
The female driver of the gold-colored van stayed at the scene and fully cooperated with the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Officers following the vehicle vs. pedestrian incident.
Also, officers conducted interviews with all involved parties on Friday, May 31, 2024, just before 3:20 PM. The condition of the female victim, who is a minor, has not been disclosed.
Meanwhile, the authorities are requesting that any additional witnesses contact the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Department with more information. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
