Lanes Blocked in Yuma Bus Accident on S Avenue 37E and East County 4th Street
YUMA, AZ (November 8, 2023) – Monday morning, authorities reported multiple injuries following a crippling farm labor bus crash on S Avenue 37E.
The incident happened at around 6:39 a.m. on S Avenue 37E and East County 4th Street.
According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, a farm labor bus with 34 occupants lost control for still unknown reasons. Then, the bus slid down an embankment and came to rest on its side.
Moreover, responders transported a total of 28 people to Yuma area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
Furthermore, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office continued to investigate the crash.
