Injuries Reported in Oakland Auto Accident on 32nd Street and West Street

OAKLAND, CA (July 27, 2023) – Wednesday night, a crippling carjacking crash on 32nd Street and West Street injured 4 people.

The incident occurred when undercover officers spotted a carjacking incident just after 5:00 p.m. at 32nd Street and West Street in West Oakland.

Then, the carjacking led to a crash that injured 4 people, including 2 OPD officers, one victim, and one suspect.

Officers confirmed that the people who carjacked the vehicle belonged to a large group driving in multiple cars.

Then, one suspect vehicle collided with a marked OPD car, police said.

After the incident, the authorities arrested multiple people. They also recovered a gun at the scene.

Furthermore, they urged anyone with information to contact OPD’s robbery section at (510) 238-3482.
