Vehicle Crash on Tujunga Avenue Critically Injures 2 People [Los Angeles, CA]

10-Month-Old Infant Hospitalized in Los Angeles Traffic Collision

Los Angeles, CA (February 27, 2023) – On Sunday night, a 40-year-old man and a 35-year-old female, sustained injuries following a vehicle crash on Tujunga Avenue.

The traffic crash happened at about 7 p.m. near the intersection with Magnolia Boulevard.

According to the LAFD, the male and female were trapped in one of the vehicles. 

Emergency crews took the door off the car that flipped and pulled a person out of the wreckage. The rescuers took the victim to an ambulance on a gurney.

Later on, the rescuers pulled another person out of the same vehicle and gave the victim oxygen, and was taken to an ambulance. 

The paramedics took both the man and woman to the hospital with critical injuries.

Moreover, the LAFD said there was a 10-month-old infant from the same car. Luckily, the baby was not trapped. They took the to a pediatric trauma center.

The second car involved in a collision, a silver Toyota four-door sedan rested on the opposite corner of the intersection. The vehicle’s rear end was completely crushed. The medical team took the woman from that car to the hospital in fair condition.

Officers are investigating the possible cause of the Los Angeles traffic collision.
