Man Hospitalized after Crash on Chanute Street in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA (December 19, 2023) – On Sunday, one person sustained injuries in a crash on Chanute Street.

The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) and Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) swiftly responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian incident.

 Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a male trapped between a sedan and a minivan. The preliminary assessment suggests that the sedan had rolled down a hill, colliding with the minivan and trapping the man in the process.

LAFD personnel had to carefully maneuver the sedan away from the minivan to access the injured patient. 

Subsequently, the male was transported to Holy Cross Hospital with injuries of unknown severity. 

The LAPD Valley Traffic Division (VTD) is now taking charge of the investigation into the incident.
