PHARR, TX (July 9, 2023) – Saturday morning, a horrific hit-and-run crash on 500 East Interstate 2 Frontage Road killed 1 person.

The incident happened at 6:50 a.m. in the 500 block of East Interstate 2 Frontage Road.

According to preliminary reports, a man was hit by a vehicle due to debris located in the area.

After the crash, the man succumbed to his injuries. However, his identity remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.

Meanwhile, Pharr Police Chief John Gonzalez said that the suspected vehicle was a Ford.
