3 Fatalities in Auto Collision on Highway North of Antioch Bridge

 
Antioch, CA (April 16, 2020)– On Tuesday evening, three people were killed in an accident on Highway 160 in Sacramento County.
 
The CHP received emergency crash reports around 6:50 p.m. on April 14.
 
The crash occurred on Highway 160 two miles north of Antioch Bridge.
 
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office ID’d the deceased victims as 26-year-old Corey Wolford, 27-year-old Alice Acoff, and 7-year-old Omari Dill.
 
Moreover, authorities recovered the Saturn Sedan they drove in and a Toyota Tundra pickup truck at the scene.
 
According to reports, the Saturn sedan carrying the victims traveled northbound on Highway 160, until the driver lost control, causing the car to cross into the southbound lane.
 
Upon skidding until landing on road the sideways, it was then struck on the passenger side by a pickup truck traveling southbound.
 
As a result, the two adults and one juvenile inside the Saturn sustained fatal injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old Tundra driver and his 30-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries and were immediately transported to a nearby hospital.
 
Further so, authorities closed both lanes of Highway 160 for preliminary duties, but have since reopened fully at 10:40 p.m.
 
Moreover, an investigation on whether alcohol and drugs were potential factors in the accident is on-going.
