Concord Afternoon Collision Involving Dump Truck Injures One Passenger
CONCORD, CA (December 10, 2018) – One person was injured following a three-vehicle crash Monday afternoon at the intersection of 680 Freeway and Highway 242.
The crash happened around 4:05 p.m. involving a blue waste management dump truck, a gray Nissan Rogue and a white Nissan Z sports car.
When officers arrived, the dump truck and the Nissan SUV were on the right shoulder, while the sports car was blocking the first lane. One passenger in one of the cars was injured but the severity was not immediately known.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene and took the patient to a hospital for proper treatment.
The Nissan SUV sustained a moderate rear-end damage and was towed away from the crash site.
