Traffic Occurred Following Collision Near Bob Hope Drive on Interstate 10
Thousand Palms, CA (June 5, 2020)– A collision involving a big rig near Bob Hope Drive left one driver with minor injuries on Wednesday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place on June 3 at about 7:12 a.m.
CHP further reported that the crash involved a big rig in the eastbound of Bob Hope Drive. There was at least one person injured as a result of the incident.
One motorist was transported to the hospital for treatments of sustained minor injuries. However, the victim’s condition is currently unknown.
Furthermore, around 35-40 gallons of diesel spilled on the roadway near the center divider.
The collision prompted the closure of the westbound lane at Monterey Avenue as of 8:55 a.m. In addition, the crash caused traffic congestion in the eastbound direction.
