COALINGA, CA – One Hospitalized in Rollover Crash at Phelps Avenue and South Calaveras Avenue

Early Morning Rollover Crash in Coalinga Sends One Passenger to Hospital

 
COALINGA, CA (February 17, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a rollover crash early Sunday morning in Coalinga.
 
The crash happened around 2:24 p.m. near the intersection of Phelps Avenue and South Calaveras Avenue.
 
According to an initial report, a vehicle had overturned about 50 feet down an embankment. Coalinga Police Department responded to the scene and located one passenger with unspecified injuries.
 
Emergency crews were immediately dispatched and transported the patient to Hanford Hospital. The name and condition of the victim were not immediately known.
 
It is unclear if alcohol, drugs or weather conditions were factors in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
