Pedestrian Hit, Injured by Driver in Chula Vista
CHULA VISTA, CA (December 26, 2018) – A woman was critically injured Friday night after being hit by a vehicle on Oxford Street near Third Avenue.
The 56-year-old woman was struck to the ground and taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Investigators believe the driver was heading eastbound on Oxford Street when the woman entered the roadway for unknown reasons.
Drugs and alcohol were said to not be factors in the crash; however, authorities are investigating this crash further to determine the circumstances and liabilities.
