Christian Bacilio of Menifee Dies in Vehicle Crash on Lake Crest Drive [Lake Elsinore, CA]

Lake Elsinore, CA (December 22, 2021) – On Monday, 21-year-old Christian Bacilio of Menifee died in a vehicle crash on Lake Crest Drive.

Officers responded to the crash scene at about 1:45 a.m. at the Riverside Drive intersection.

Officers said Bacilio’s vehicle and a sheriff’s patrol car crashed.

As a result, Bacilio sustained fatal injuries.

The CHP was asked by sheriff’s officials to handle the investigation in this accident because a deputy was involved.

Moreover, the officers confirmed that that the involved officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

He’s out of the hospital, back home and in good spirits officer said.

Apparently, the officer was on routine patrol when the crash happened.
