Two-Vehicle Collision Reported in Phoenix
PHOENIX, AZ (January 30, 2020)—A two-vehicle crash at North 27th Avenue and West Van Buren Street Monday left two children injured.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, a black SUV blew through a red traffic light and collided with another car. In that second car, a 12-year-old girl and a 7-year-old girl suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedics brought both to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment.
The Phoenix fire department said a total of seven people occupied the SUV and the second vehicle. Following the accident, both drivers remained at the scene and police ruled out impairment as a factor.
