5 People Hospitalized in T-Bone Sacramento Accident

SACRAMENTO, CA (December 12, 2019) — A broadside Watt Avenue crash near Arden Way left five people, including children, hospitalized Wednesday.

According to the California Highway Patrol, of those five patients, one sustained major injuries.

Investigators at the scene determined that a driver of a Toyota Camry, who had been riding in the car with the children, collided with a Chevrolet pickup truck.

Further investigations revealed that the southbound Chevrolet tried making a left turn into a driveway by the Old Spaghetti Factory when it T-boned the Toyota.

It’s unclear whether impairment contributed to the crash, but officials are considering weather as a factor.

Many factors play a role in car accidents. During severe weather, watch your speed and keep a safe distance from other drivers around you. Wet road conditions and dense fog can make driving more difficult and place you in more hazardous conditions. Drive with care and adjust your driving accordingly in inclement weather.
