4 Hurt in Hit-and-Run Accident on 3rd Street in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (July 26, 2019) – Children suffered injuries in a hit-and-run accident Thursday morning at 3rd Street and Carroll Avenue.
According to police, the driver of the vehicle that crashed into a fire hydrant fled from the scene.
The 1:13 a.m. crash resulted in four injuries, including three girls ages 11, 14 and 17. In addition, a 19-year-old man also sustained injuries.
It appears one victim suffered broken bones while the other three sustained minor injuries.
Police at the scene determined that the driver fled from the scene, and the passengers failed to comply with officers investigating the crash.
No other details were available at this time, but authorities plan on investigating further.
