Injuries Reported in El Cajon Multi-Vehicle Accident on Hidden Mesa Road and Jamacha Road

 
EL CAJON, CA (October 12, 2021) – Sunday morning, a child suffered injuries in a DUI crash on Hidden Mesa Road and Jamacha Boulevard.
 
The incident began when a male driver traveled north in a red Chevrolet Silverado on Jamacha Road. Then, he suddenly hit a white Range Rover near Jamacha Road and Penasco Road.
 
Then, the suspect driver continued and crashed with a black Lexus SUV. The next crash happened just a block away on Hidden Mesa Road and Jamacha Road. As a result, the SUV rolled over and landed on its wheels.
 
Meanwhile, the suspect went north on Jamacha Road where he sideswiped a pickup truck. Afterward, the Silverado crashed along the curb line of the opposite lanes of the street near Washington St. & Jamacha Road.
 
Reports confirmed that a small child occupying the black Lexus SUV sustained injuries. Thus, responders took the patient to the hospital for evaluation.
 
After giving a breathalyzer test, the officers found that the Silverado driver went over the legal alcohol limit. As a result, they detained him without incident.
 
The authorities clarified that the child was in a car seat at the time of the crash.
