RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA (May 10, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, Charles Shacklock of Lowellville, OH died in a rollover crash on Highway 243 near Pine Cove.
 
The incident occurred at 2:32 p.m. in the 19401 block of Highway 243 near Pine Cove. The authorities added that the crash happened in the San Jacinto Mountains.
 
Initially, the CHP said that the head-on crash involved a silver SUV and a black SUV.
 
Then, the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department later clarified that it responded to an SUV rollover crash.
 
Fire officials confirmed that a 31-year-old man died in the crash.
 
The coroner later released the identity of the individual as Ohio resident Charles Shacklock.
 
Meanwhile, three others sustained injuries. Also, one of them suffered critical injuries, which prompted an air ambulance to respond to the scene.
 
Meanwhile, a ground ambulance took the two other patients with moderate wounds to the hospital.
