Charles Mutschler Dead in 3-Car Accident on Highway 904 Near 90 Freeway
FOUR LAKES, WA (March 12, 2019) – A 63-year-old Eastern Washington University archivist died in a three-vehicle accident Sunday night on Highway 904 near the 90 Freeway.
According to news reports, Charles V. Mutschler veered into oncoming traffic for unknown reasons and struck two eastbound cars. The 63-year-old man died in the crash when he allowed his westbound vehicle to cross into the eastbound lanes.
One person in one of the vehicles suffered unknown injuries. Mutschler, however, died at the scene.
Now, his mother Denise and younger brother John are remembering their loved one and celebrating his legacy. Per his close peers, he’s contributed greatly to the libraries and the academic community.
Authorities have yet to determine the ultimate cause of the accident.
