Chap Choun Killed, Chhoeup Khim Arrested in Long Beach DUI Crash
Long Beach, CA (October 4, 2020) – On Saturday, the 41-year-old Chap Choun of Long Beach died in a DUI crash on Orange Street in Long Beach.
The fatal accident happened at around 5:30 p.m. on Orange Avenue and 20th Street.
Police said a 1999 Toyota Solara crashed into several parked vehicles.
Meanwhile, police arrested the driver, 51-year-old Chhoeup Khim, also of Long Beach, for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Also, the authorities added a charge of vehicular manslaughter along with drunk driving.
Moreover, police said Chap Choun’s injuries proved fatal in the car accident.
