Deadly La Paz County Boating Accident on Colorado River
LA PAZ COUNTY, AZ (August 16, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, a Chandler woman died in a boating crash on the Colorado River.
According to reports, a woman operating a boat crashed with a vessel traveling north along the river on the Parker Strip. Moreover, the incident happened close to La Paz County Park.
When responders arrived, they found the woman not breathing in the water.
Some concerned bystanders pulled her from the water and brought her to the shore. However, upon arrival at La Paz Regional Hospital, they declared her dead.
At this time, her identity remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.
Also, the cause of the crash remained unclear.
