Challenger Driver Richard Neil Dies in Central Avenue Vehicle Crash [Fresno County, CA]

Richard Neil Killed, Another Injured in Crash on Central Avenue

Fresno County, CA (November 01, 2021) – Earlier today, a red Challenger driver, 63-year-old Richard Neil, suffered fatal injuries in a vehicle crash on Central Avenue.

It was about 7:45 a.m. when the accident happened at the intersection with Temperance Avenue.

Officers said Neil was southbound on Temperance Avenue approaching Central Avenue when he ran a stop sign. 

As a result, his Challenger collided with the side of a westbound white pickup truck. 

Responding officers pronounced Neil dead at the scene. 

On the other hand, emergency rescuers took the truck driver to the hospital with a broken leg. 

Meanwhile, the authorities do not consider alcohol or drugs to be a factor in the fatal incident.
