Joseph Stanger Involved in Okanogan County Fatal Pedestrian Crash
Okanogan County, WA (March 07, 2022) On Friday, 48-year-old Chad Vaughn from Okanogan County died after getting hit by a vehicle on State Route 97.
The Washington State Patrol (WSP) says that the fatal accident happened at about 9:45 p.m. on State Route 97’s northbound lane.
Officials say that Vaughn was standing on the northbound lane when a truck heading north hit him.
Rescuers took the victim to Mid-Valley Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, 41-year-old Joseph Stanger from Burlington was the driver of the 2013 Ram Pickup.
Stanger and his passenger were not hurt.
