Celso Conde Dies in Oxnard Accident on Robert Avenue and C Street

OXNARD, CA (December 15, 2021) – Monday night, 53-year-old Celso Conde died in a car crash on Robert Avenue and C Street.

The deadly accident occurred at about 6:12 p.m. on Robert Avenue and C Street.

According to reports, the man had been driving a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban eastbound on Robert Avenue toward C Street. Also, his mother rode in the car with him in the front passenger seat.

Then, the victim sped up and steered the vehicle into a 2015 Volkswagen parked near the intersection. Afterward, the car crossed the street and hit a fence at a residence in the southeast corner of the intersection.

Responders took the driver to a local hospital. However, he later succumbed to his injuries. Moreover, the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office later revealed his identity as Celso L. Conde. Meanwhile, the passenger, his mom, suffered no injuries in the crash.
