Carrie Horarik and Carol Jackson Dead in 2-Car Wreck on Highway 29 Near Grange Road
MIDDLETOWN, CA (November 28, 2018) – Two women were killed Saturday night in a head-on crash along Highway 29 near Grange Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened just before 10:30 p.m. south of Grange Road. Carrie Anne Horarik, 46, was reportedly driving a 2011 Nissan Sentra southbound on the highway when, for unknown reasons, she veered over the solid double yellow lines and collided with a northbound 1999 Ford Ranger, driven by 77-year-old Carol Amsbury Jackson.
Horarik and Jackson – both from Clearlake – died at the scene.
According to the CHP, the crash remains under investigation.
