2 Pronounced Dead after Auto Collision near Vista Chino in Palm Springs
PALM SPRINGS, CA (March 19, 2020) – Late Monday evening, two female Oklahoma residents identified as Carolyne Paradiso and Physlis Newell were killed in an accident on Indian Canyon Drive.
CHP received reports around 11:25 p.m., on Indian Canyon Drive. Dispatchers arrived near Vista Chino shortly after.
For reasons still unknown, two unidentified cars collided on the road. According to reports, 52-year-old Paradiso and 69-year-old Newell were inside the same vehicle.
Meanwhile, two other people sustained injuries. Medics transported them to a nearby hospital for further treatment. However, their condition remains unknown.
The surrounding area on Indian Canyon Drive was closed off for a brief time during preliminary duties. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
