77-Year-Old Man Dies after Crashing His Motorcycle into Tree in San Jose
SAN JOSE, CA (October 14, 2019) – A man was killed in a motorcycle crash Monday afternoon in West San Jose, according to police.
The crash happened around 4:00 p.m. in the 600 block of Saratoga Avenue near Moorpark Avenue.
Police said a 77-year-old Carl Schindler of San Juan Bautista was riding a Honda Gold Wing motorcycle across a parking lot when he hit a curb and crashed into a tree.
As a result, Schindler suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Alcohol and drugs are not suspected as factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
