CACTUS CITY, CA – 1 Dead, 1 Injured After Car Crashes Into Ditch on 10 Freeway Near Frontage Road

Fatal Single-Car Crash in Cactus City

CACTUS CITY, CA (November 19, 2018) – One person perished Saturday morning after a vehicle crashed into a drainage ditch off the 10 East Freeway near Frontage Road.

Around 2:50 a.m., firefighters responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash just east of Frontage Road. Upon locating the damaged vehicle, one person was found dead at the scene while the other person was trapped before being freed at 3:25 a.m. The patient was brought to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

It was not clear how the incident happened, but a follow-up investigation is underway.
