TULARE COUNTY, CA (June 22, 2023) – Tuesday night, a brutal traffic crash on Highway 99 near Avenue 328 killed one person.

The incident started at around 11:00 p.m. when a Ford veered into the center divider and crashed into a wall on Southbound Highway 99 north of Avenue 328.

According to reports, a Chevrolet struck the right front side of the Ford, pushing the vehicle to spin around and hit the Ford driver who was outside the vehicle.

Moreover, responders rushed both drivers to Kaweah Delta Hospital where the male driver of the Ford was pronounced dead.

Furthermore, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the cause of the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
