1 Dead in Dallas Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 20 and Cedar Ridge Drive

DALLAS, TX (April 23, 2024) – Early Monday morning, a brutal hit-and-run crash on Interstate 20 and Cedar Ridge Drive killed 1 person.

The incident happened at about 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 20 and Cedar Ridge Drive.

Officers revealed that the crash in the westbound lanes of the interstate involved a motorcycle and the driver of an unknown vehicle.

The impact caused the motorcyclist to be ejected from the bike. Eventually, an 18-wheeler and another vehicle hit him, leaving him with fatal injuries.

Deputies reported that several vehicles stopped to assist the motorcyclist after the severe crash, but the driver responsible for causing the initial collision did not render aid and fled the scene.

Authorities are currently seeking information about the hit-and-run driver, whose vehicle likely sustained damage to the front end and windshield as a result of the collision.
