7 People Hospitalized in Horrific Traffic Collision near Highway 4
Antioch, CA (March 15, 2024) On Thursday afternoon, 7 people were hurt and hospitalized after a horrific bus crash on Laurel Road near the Highway 4 offramp.
According to the Antioch Police Department (APD), the traffic collision happened at about 12:30 p.m. on Laurel Road.
Reports say that the collision involved an SUV and a Tri Delta Transit bus. Officials say that the SUV allegedly went through the intersection against a red light and collided with the rear-end of the bus.
Medics say that 7 people suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were all taken to the hospital. Officials say that the SUV driver also suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital for a non-life-threatening injury.
Police are investigating the traffic collision and say that drugs, alcohol, or speeding were not factors in the collision.
