12-Year-Old Bruce Leon Cross Dies Bakersfield Motorcycle Crash
Bakersfield, CA (October 22, 2020) – On Wednesday, 12-year-old Bruce Cross died in a motorcycle crash on Kern Canyon Road.
The fatal incident transpired at around 6:42 p.m. on the 9100 block area.
Investigators said the motorcycle driver lost control for an unknown reason. The impact of the crash ejected both the driver and Cross from the motorcycle.
The authorities pronounced Bruce Cross dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the rescuers took the motorcycle driver to a hospital with moderate injuries.
Moreover, unlike drugs and alcohol, the police consider excessive speed as a contributing factor in this crash.
The authorities continue to investigate the fatal Bakersfield accident.
