Brittany Blake Detained Following Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Muriel Drive Near Carson Street
BARSTOW, CA (January 11, 2019) – A man was severely injured Sunday evening after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in the 800 block of South Muriel Drive near Carson Street.
Police arrived at the scene to find the victim on the roadway with severe injuries. The victim was unresponsive and suffered severe head trauma and multiple injuries to his lower limbs. Paramedics arrived and transported him to Loma Linda University Medical Center and as of Tuesday, he was reported in critical but stable condition.
Monday afternoon, with the help of a tip given by a resident at a mobile home park in the 600 block of Rimrock Road, Brittany Blake was arrested. She was charged on felony hit-and-run with injuries and remains in custody at the High Desert Detention Center in lieu of $50,000 bail.
