Brianna Cruz Detained After Crashing Into Vehicle in DUI Wreck at North Lake Street and East Yosemite Avenue

MADERA, CA (November 28, 2018) – A Madera woman was arrested following a two-vehicle DUI crash at North Lake Street and East Yosemite Avenue Saturday.

According to police, Brianna Cruz was spotted driving her Chrysler 300 without her headlights on as she drove down North Lake Street. An officer who noticed this made a U-turn and followed Cruz until she approached a stop sign, where she rear-ended an SUV in front of her.

Police said Cruz was determined to be three times over the legal drinking limit. The other driver was not harmed in the collision.
