BREA, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in 57 Freeway Crash near Imperial Highway

Rider Dies in Brea Motorcycle Accident

 
BREA, CA (January 21, 2019) – A motorcyclist perished Saturday afternoon following a crash on the 57 Freeway near Imperial Highway.
 
The deadly event unfolded just north of Imperial Highway around 5:40 p.m., according to a California Highway Patrol incident log. Authorities are investigating whether the rider was involved in a crash with another vehicle or not.
 
Police shut down all northbound lanes due to the investigation. The carpool lane was the first one to open at 6:30 p.m. while the rest of the lanes were backed up until 8 p.m. The identity of the fatal victim has yet to be released by authorities.
