41-Year-Old Motorcyclist Fatally Struck in Crash near Baseline Avenue in Fontana
FONTANA, CA (January 16, 2020) – Late Saturday afternoon, 41-year-old Brandon Sancett from Angeles Oaks, was killed in a motorcycle collision on Mango Avenue.
Officers responded to the area near Baseline Avenue around 5:32 p.m. According to reports, two motorcycles were involved. However, the events leading up to the crash are currently unclear.
Sancett was found on the roadway unconscious and unresponsive. He was immediately transported to Kaiser for further treatment of life-threatening injuries. However, he was pronounced dead in the emergency room around 6:30 p.m.
In addition, police also identified the other motorcyclist as a 30-year-old male from Fontana who remained uninjured.
The surrounding area on Mango Avenue was closed off while crews worked on preliminary duties. The cause of the accident is still currently under investigation. More information will be released once available.
