Sacramento Man Brandon Russell-Reese and Richard Hill of Placerville Injured in Highway 50 Crash
Camino, CA (April 30, 2021) – On Saturday, 19-year-old Brandon Russell-Reese of Sacramento and 86-year-old Richard Hill of Placerville were injured in a crash on Highway 50.
Moreover, the Camino accident happened near the Sierra Blanca Road intersection.
Russell-Reese was westbound on a 1999 Toyota Avalon when Hill, in a 2014 Subaru Forester, failed to notice the Toyota.
Subsequently, Hill turned left from the left turn lane of eastbound lanes of Highway 50 and across the westbound lanes.
As a result, the Toyota crashed into the Subaru. Then, the Toyota then crashed into a chain-link fence along Highway 50.
Unfortunately, Russell-Reese sustained serious injuries in the accident. Apparently, Hill and a 19-year-old Toyota female passenger both suffered minor injuries.
Ultimately, as a driver, it’s vital to pay close attention to those around you. Always keep a considerable distance from others and practice defensive maneuvers.
