Brandon Harris and Rebecca Swafford Dead, Their Daughter Injured in Fatal Drytown Accident
Drytown, CA (November 14, 2020) – On Saturday, 43-year-old Brandon Harris and 39-year-old Rebecca Swafford, both of Mokelumne Hill, died in a vehicle crash on Highway 49.
The fatal crash happened after 3 p.m. north of Drytown.
Authorities responded to the accident and found the family’s Jeep Grand Cherokee with major body damage.
The authorities pronounced Harris and Swafford, along with their dog, dead at the scene.
Further, Swafford’s young daughter was also inside the vehicle at the time of the accident. Rescuers took her and to UC Davis Medical Center to be treated for her injuries.
Meanwhile, the Amador County investigators said the accident happened during the first heavy rainfall of the season. They warned drivers to be wary of slick road conditions.
