Boy Hospitalized after Collision on Woodlawn Avenue [Chula Vista, CA]

CHULA VISTA, CA (July 4, 2019) – A boy sustained injuries after a collision on Woodlawn Avenue on July 2.
 
According to reports, an SUV crashed into the boy’s bedroom about 8:14 a.m. in the 500 block of Woodlawn Avenue.
 
Upon the officers’ arrival, they located the SUV that had crashed into the building just below a bedroom window, hitting a bed inside.
 
Police revealed that two children occupied the bed at the time of the collision. Responders took a 10-year-old boy to a hospital with injuries.
 
The SUV damaged the building moderately. The crash left a shattered window and a clear impact directly beneath the broken glass.
 
Authorities are investigating the collision.
