1 Dead in Phoenix Bicycle Accident on 16th Street and Portland Street
PHOENIX, AZ (April 4, 2022) – Friday night, a bicyclist died in a hit-and-run crash on 16th Street and Portland Street.
The incident happened at about 10:15 p.m. on 16th Street and Portland Street.
According to investigations, a 63-year-old man traveled west on a bicycle. As he crossed 16th Street, a northbound vehicle struck him and continued driving north without stopping.
Meanwhile, the bicyclist succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.
Moreover, officers described the hit-and-run vehicle as a white or white black sedan.
