SAN DIEGO, CA (March 28, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, a 61-year-old bicyclist suffered injuries in a DUI crash on N Mountain View Drive.
 
The crash happened at about 4:43 p.m. in the 3400 block of N Mountain View Drive. According to reports, a 28-year-old male driver hit the north curb line of the roadway. Then, he struck a utility pole and headed west.
 
Eventually, the driver struck the bicyclist from behind and the impact ejected the rider from the bike.
 
As a result, the 61-year-old rider suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Responders took them to an area hospital.
