Cyclist Hospitalized Following Indian Wells Crash

 
INDIAN WELLS, CA (March 28, 2019) – A bicyclist suffered injuries Monday morning in a crash on Highway 111 near Province Way.
 
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, authorities responded to reports around 11 a.m. between Province Way and Cook Street.
 
An unidentified male riding a bicycle westbound on the highway collided with a stationary Dodge minivan, according to a sheriff’s statement. Medics immediately brought the unidentified victim to a nearby hospital for treatment.
 
As far as the driver goes, he remained at the scene and cooperated with deputies, who later ruled out impairment as a contributing factor.
