Man Injured in San Diego Bicycle Crash
SAN DIEGO, CA (April 4, 2019) – A bicyclist suffered serious injuries following Tuesday’s collision with a scooter rider on Ocean Front Walk near Mission Boulevard.
According to police, the incident took place around 4:30 p.m. Authorities noted that a 55-year-old bicyclist and a 27-year-old scooter rider collided on the boardwalk.

The bicyclist suffered two fractured ribs and fractures to roughly five lumbar vertebrae. Meanwhile, the scooter rider suffered only minor cuts and abrasions to his knees and elbows.
According to police, the bicyclist may likely be at fault since he was determined to be riding against pedestrian traffic.
