Man Hurt in Redding Bicycle Crash

 
REDDING, CA (April 18, 2019) – A bicyclist was hit on Lake Boulevard and suffered serious injuries in Wednesday’s crash in Redding.
 
According to reports, the bicyclist suffered a head injury around 3:20 p.m. when a vehicle of an unknown model struck him. First Responders arrived at the scene and found the victim alert and conscious.
 
As a result of the crash, the westbound lanes were shut down due to investigations and clean up.
 
Reports did not specify any information surrounding the pickup truck driver involved. However, authorities are investigating the events leading to the crash.
