Man Dies in Sacramento Bicycle Collision
SACRAMENTO, CA (April 24, 2019) – A bicyclist died Tuesday night following a collision near Elder Creek Road and Stockton Boulevard.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the incident happened around 8:40 p.m.
Police say the bicyclist succumbed to his injuries after being struck by a vehicle.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with police, who determined that alcohol and drugs were not factors in the collision.
It is unclear at this point how the crash happened and where the fault lies. However, the department’s investigation unit plans to determine the cause.
