Per reports, Amtrak Cascades passenger train 517 struck the bicyclist while traveling from Vancouver, B.C., to Portland.
The bicyclist was pedaling from Roeder Avenue and ignored both flaggers and electric arms. He continued pedaling onto the tracks where the Amtrak train struck him.
