According to authorities, the incident happened at around 12:48 a.m. on Silica Drive and Hesperia Road.
 
Reports revealed that a westbound Ford Explorer rear-ended a westbound bicyclist for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash sent the bicyclist into the roadway.
