BELLA VISTA, CA – One Killed in Rollover Crash at Old Alturas Road and Deschutes Road

Car Hits Power Pole and Overturns in Bella Vista, Fatality Reported

 
BELLA VISTA, CA (February 15, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a rollover crash Friday evening in Bella Vista.
 
The crash happened around 8:12 p.m. near the intersection of Old Alturas Road and Deschutes Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle went about 30 feet off the roadway and crashed into a power pole. It then overturned down a ditch, where it landed on its side.
 
Emergency crews responded to the scene and attempted life-saving measures. Sadly, at least one fatality was reported as a result of the accident.
 
The name, age and town of residence of the victim were not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
 
The CHP is still piecing together exactly what led up to the crash but do not believe any other vehicles were involved.
