BEAUMONT, CA – One Seriously Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 79 at County Landfill Road

At Least 5 Vehicles Involved in Evening Beaumont Crash on Highway 79, Major Injuries Sustained

 
BEAUMONT, CA (March 14, 2019) – One person was seriously injured following a multi-vehicle collision Thursday evening on northbound Highway 79 at County Landfill Road.
 
The collision happened just before 10:00 p.m. involving at least five vehicles.
 
When officers arrived, one vehicle was blocking the roadway, one was on the right shoulder, while some others were facing the wrong way on northbound Highway 79. One party was reportedly trapped inside a vehicle.
 
An ambulance unit was dispatched to the scene and took one patient to a hospital with major neck injury.
 
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired. Authorities are looking further into the accident.
