BAKERSFIELD, CA – Two Hurt in Crash at Lerdo Highway and Industrial Farm Road

Injuries Reported in Morning Collision on Lerdo Highway in Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 22, 2019) – Two people were hurt following a traffic collision Friday morning at the intersection of Lerdo Highway and Industrial Farm Road.
 
The collision happened around 5:58 a.m. involving a red Fiat and another vehicle.
 
Details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available, but one party sustained a minor cut to the head. An elderly woman was trapped inside a severely damaged vehicle and complained of chest pain.
 
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene and took the patients to Kern Medical Center for proper treatment.
 
Both vehicles were towed away from the crash site.
 
Due to several factors remained unclear, investigation is ongoing.
